Last March, the Survey Instrument Division had the opportunity to deliver a lecture on the fundamentals of surveying and the operation of the Trimble R4s GNSS receiver with the Trimble TDC600 controller to second-year students from the Faculty of Civil Engineering and the Faculty of Environmental Engineering at Ramkhamhaeng University.

The students gained hands-on experience collecting coordinate data using both Static and RTK methods. Subsequently, all the data was processed using Trimble Business Center (TBC) software, and the results from the fieldwork were presented. The students were impressed by the accuracy and efficiency of the work, and the experience provided them with valuable new insights.
